各位好:? ?

Hi Guys,
When I try to view a list of ACL rules in a VPC, and I have more than say, 10
rules, it can take up to a minute to load. Chrome even asks if I want to kill
the unresponsive page. Firefox handles the delay a little bit better, but it's
still a long wait.
I've recently upgraded to ACS
Hi Amin,
I can reproduce the problem; the stack trace is similar to what Prashant
pointed to. Do confirm you are seeing a similar stack trace in your logs and
file a bug for the same. I'll submit a fix for the problem.

I've resolved the issue, with brute force, by starting again. There
must have been a gremlin in the gears, as advanced networking worked
first time.
Thanks for all the assistance.

Hi,
Before I ran any kind of command I decided to dive a little deeper into
this issue.
So, I checked the systemvm.iso that is inside CS MS. and it turned out that
it has the jars for the CS agent 4.3.0.
However, I also checked the systemvm.iso that is in the xen hosts in

Unfortunately pulling down the templates from Jenkins still did not help me.
I tried to upgrade using the GUI method Clicking Upgrade Router button no
luck.
Also tried to upgrade using the method that Zack suggested from the release
notes doc.
Lastly tried to upgrade with cloud-install-sys-tmplt
Hi,
Is there any open source software component as an alternative to Citrix
Netscaler to do loadbalancing and auto scaling tasks on cloudstack?
UPDATE:
I finally cracked it.
Even though the systemvm.iso files were updated into the xen servers, there
was a .vhd file that is created into the local storage of the servers that
are running the system VMs that contains the systemvm.iso files.
Therefore, I had to stop the CS MSs delete those
Hi,
I am not aware of any opensource load balancers with the ease of use and
feature set they Netscaler offers.
If your goal is to only load balance http services then you can look into
apache proxy pass
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_proxy.html
You can also take a look at pound
I believe you can use apache, nginx as a loadbalancer but you can not
achieve autoscale feature because cloudstack need to auto configure such
softwares

Anyone using swift for secstorage in 4.3? I am curious about how you
deployed it, such as:
- How large are your swift data nodes and how many nodes?
- How large are the NFS staging nodes?
- Any speed benefit from using swift?
Any other tid bits of information would be great!
Thanks,
Dave.
I've been working on getting a CloudStack docker appliance working for a bit
now, the UI works, but actually connecting in hypervisors and getting VM
deployments working isn't at the moment (and if anyone wants to help, it would
be appreciated!)
Thanks Derek.
Thanks Vahric.
CloudStack talked about new feature so called *n-tier app* in its new
release. I think this new feature will address the auto scaling problem.

I use to be able to virtual bake appliances for cloudstack, it dropped
of my radar, but i will pick it up again.
I have some really old appliances available online @ www.cloudsand.com,
i think its version 4.1
Will try to have this process streamlined and automated soon for all
versions.
You recommended some interface for read cloudstack-usage data?
I saw posts with splunk integration.
anyone who tested this?
thanks,

Hi,
I've just configured a public VR with advanced networking and would
like to connect to it via a VPN enabled in CS, from my laptop.
The tutorials are a bit thing in on this subject.

Interesting, i've done the same thing several times, i had no issues
you've mentioned.
I'm not using 64bit router VMs though. The version of routervm on my 4.3
test environment is 32bit 2014-04-09 (contains heartbleed patch).
I pulled it from Jenkins.
Unless you are going to allocate more
That's true. I am just so used to grabbing 64bit distros that it did not
cross my mind.
Thanks for the suggestion.
