Thanks, the error message seems to come from the ADFS server. Could you
intercept the SAML process?
For firefox there is a plugin called 'SAML Tracer', getting the output of
that could give us some hints.

Hi, thank you for your answer. Here is the translated error message:
System.Xml.XmlException: MSIS0018: The SAML protocol message cannot be read
because it contains data that is not valid. ---> System.ArgumentException:
ID4128: The value is not a valid SAML ID.
Parameter name: value ---> System.
I haven't tried since I wrote that post, but it worked back then.
Any chance that you could translate the error messages?

Hi Jhosep,
Could you please add the log related to the error at the CloudStack agent?
With that, we might get a starting point to help you.
Cheers,
Gabriel.

Hi,
I am working with CloudStack and I'm indending to use it as a Service Provider
connected through SSO with our Active Directory Federation Service .
I have no Idea how to allow CloudStack to authenticate on the ADFS .
I tried to follow this guide

me the error is: "Unable to add the host" I'm putting the root user and

Hi Sanjeev,
this is not an option unfortunately as this will involve a great deal of manual
work. There are hundreds of volumes in my small cloud setup.
What would happen if I just update the cache value in db and restart the vms?
This should be much faster.
Thanks

Hi Andrei,
It is not possible to modify the existing disk offering values. You can create
another disk offering with cache option enabled and update the disks with the
new offering.

Hi Josh,
To send a smaller file, you could clear the log file and wait for 2 or 3
iterations of the SSVMs to spin up and fail:
1. Stop Cloudstack Management Service
2. Stop Cloudstack Usage Service
3. Copy off the /var/log/cloudstack/management/management-server.log file to
another location
4.
Hi Josh,
Once you have done that , could you paste your management server logs to
pastbin,
We are looking at the time around the deployment of the system vm's, if there
is a failure it will be an exception (ERROR message)
