Hello All, Are there any known issues with scaling issues with the controller services? How many hypervisors should I be able to deploy to a zone before running into issues and having to start a new zone? Thanks for any info!

Slow Networking

Users, I am facing a problem with one client running a VPC on my HVM-backed CloudStack 4.5.2. The machines behind the VR get poor ping times and slow transfers. I think the issue is the Intel network adapter driver... Typically I setup Windows VM's with Windows PV as the OS type and add the

The way I’m understanding this then is the following: - Have a NIC on the same subnet that storage is on KVM - Then based on IP you enter into primary settings it should use the right NIC - There is not a way to fully define the exact NIC to be a primary storage NIC. Just IP and Subnet for

Thank you. When I attempted that, it kept trying to reach primary storage over the Cloudbr0 that I specified for management on the KVM hosts. Is there any labeling or bridge I need to do in KVM? Or will it use the open card? I guess how does it know which open interface to use for primary

Just connect the storage via a different physical network (or vlan) to the hosts. You don't need to do any tagging in ACS management for it. The host agents talk to the storage, so as long as the agent can see the primary storage, you should be good to go. - Si
