Hi Daniel,
Thanks for the response. I will try with the ubuntu host in a separate test
environment. I do not want to replace qemu-kvm with qemu-kvm-ev as I am
uncertain what effect it will have in my current pre-production
environment(Cento-KVM). Shall I go with the default cloudstack
Hi again,
just wanted to inform you that changeing the values in the database was
successfull.
The Core-Count is visible in the dash-board again.
That reminded me, that while adding hosts in one of my previous trials i

Great, thanks Daniel.
Abishek, now it seems you need to install qemu-kvm-ev for testing the
feature.

Hi Abishek, Wei, I tested this feature with Ubuntu 20.04 + KVM. Some
community members tested with CentOS7 and qemu-kvm-ev and it worked.
Also, as live snapshots and live migrations, hotplug memory is a known
limitation of qemu-kvm. I cannot give you advice regarding this
replacement too, as I
No problem at all - looking at my last 'signature' i am prone to typo's,

Hi Wei,
thanks again for your support.
As I have not worked with the CS DB beforehand:
Which table are you referring to with "hosts table"? Taking a look into my
DB I am not finding a table of the name "hosts".
Thanks in advance,
Christ

Hi Piotr,
sorry I asked you to check the log on the wrong host, since the command was
sent to SSVM (s-163-VM). One question, have you destroyed/recreated SSVM
after the upgrade ?

Hi,
If you are sure that all hosts are enabled (resource_state='Enabled' in
hosts table), you can update the capacity_state to "Enabled" by manual db
change.
