Hi all,
Trying for the last few days to install the cloudstack-agent on a poc host,
however Ubuntu throws a checksum mismatch when using the repository..

Hello,
ZFS is unfortunately not supported, otherwise I would have recommended
that. But if you are going local systems (no nfs/iscsi), ext4 would be the
way to go.

Most people forget that it’s not the sequential performance that counts.. it’s
the 4K random performance and even for NVMe-SSD’s, a redundant 10G connection
between the hosts will be absolutely sufficient.
However split it up in pairs so the one pair takes care of ceph/vsan, the other

Hi all,
I am using openvswitch for my hypervisors and I found this article:
http://docs.cloudstack.apache.org/en/latest/networking/ovs-plugin.html
Is this still used? When I look in the providers table, I do not see the
Ovs plugin, whether I choose GRE or VLAN as the isolation type for the

Hi all,
Currently doing some POC'ing in a nested environment. Running the latest
4.11.1 with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I am using openvswitch to connect the
networks.
So far everything has worked much better than the 4.11 where I had
countless of issues. However, after rebooting my hypervisor, the
Hi Jon,
I would suppose that several people/providers run guest and public networks
together. I was also confused in the start about the cloudstack networking.
1. I guess you can, the traffic will be separated by VLAN’s.
2. When defining a public range, in my experience you have to assign a
stem to get going once I have created a VPC.

Hi all,
I have an issue regarding the system VMs. After deploying an advanced zone,
the system VMs are trying to be created but gets stuck in a "Starting"
state, however the Agent state is "Up". I have these logs in the agent.log

Hi all,
I am trying to test out the Cloudstack 4.11 solution in my lab. I am
currently at the management server stage, following this guide:
http://docs.cloudstack.apache.org/projects/cloudstack-installation/en/4.11/management-server/
Now, the installation and such goes without a hitch: I add
