Hello everyone,
Is there any parameter so that compute and storage cards (among all others
that involve resource limits) to respect and show the limits defined for a
domain instead of bringing the user's own limit data?
Hi Henrique!
And what do I do in the case of Second Storage VM? How do I get the
secondary storage to be mounted on the SSVM?

ACS, neither on the management node, nor on the SSVM,
nor on the KVM hosts.
Remembering that in the global parameter secstorage.nfs.version I already
changed the value to 4 and it still had no effect.

All tests were done in ACS version 4.19.0.1

Correct, the user instance and the computing offer have HA enabled.

hey guys!
Is there any way to manually fence a KVM host and then automatically start
the migration of VMs that have HA enabled?

Hi Brian!
Firstly, I would like to emphasize that each company deals with this issue
in a different way. What I see being used as a practice is not allowing
desktop versions of Windows, only allowing versions of Windows Server (with
ISO provided by the virtualization provider).

Is there any future feature planned to allow creating firewall rules based
on "lists" with multiple source IPs together?
it would be useful with cloudflare, for example, which has several IPs that
are geographically distributed and need to be released on the client's
firewall.
Guys, when we create a new VM from a template, it seems to me that a new
disk is created as if it were a snapshot, linked to the original template
file (qcow2 backing file link).
Is there any way to avoid this link, creating a complete clone of the
template disk and attaching it exclusively to the
I didn't have a problem here either (with Windows Server editions).
If it is a Windows Desktop edition that requires the TPM security component
(for example Windows 11), it is also possible to boot, but it requires
adjustments to the KVM virtualization host.

morning!
In my experience, I was able to migrate VM disks that had been created in
Proxmox, without any difficulty.
The only detail is to ensure that in Proxmox the VM disks are in QCOW2
format. Being in QCOW2, simply upload the disk as a template to Cloudstack
and then create the VM using this
Is there any material or documentation that helps to understand in more
depth how snapshots behave? For example, I noticed that in some case a
"backing file" was created pointing a qcow2 file to another... another
point I wanted to understand is whether any of these types of snapshots
allow restori
Hi!
What is the difference between the "Snapshots" and "VM Snapshots" features?
In practice, what changes between the snapshots created in these two menus?
Do any of them have limitations in restoring the machine's state completely?

Hi guys!
Maybe my question is a little obvious, but I would like to know if the
dummy framework performs any action when active in cloudstack. I enabled it
in the global parameters, but when triggering a VM backup, I can't see if
any files were generated.

Hi Marty!
I may be wrong and colleagues can correct me if necessary, but as far as I
understand, these permissions are treated in a unique way. Therefore, by
preventing the user from seeing the "Network Offers" menu, this also
results in not allowing network offers to be listed on all other screen
Hi Joffrey!
This is a very special announcement :-) I will definitely be tuned in and
following the events in the coming weeks.
Yesterday, I was testing the backroll installation (without integration
with cloudstack), but I realized that configuring and debugging the UI with

Hi everyone!
What other solutions, besides Veeam, can be used (in production) to backup
virtual machines integrated with CloudStack?
Guys, is the quota tariff plugin still in development?
I ask because in version 4.18 I've noticed that the memory tariff, for
example, isn't being calculated or saved in the cloud_usage table, in
addition to the error that appears when trying to update a tariff (Unable

Is there any instruction to optimize the performance of the graphical
console via noVNC? For virtual machines with desktop enabled, the
performance of the noVNC console is very low.
I came from experience with Proxmox and in it the noVNC console, even
protected by SSL, is much superior. That's why
Hi, everyone!
In the cloudstack roadmap, is there a plan to improve the dashboard on the
home screen? I'm referring to the RAM and CPU usage indicators (to show not
only the allocated but also the actual usage of each resource)...
