Yeah, I changed the MTU to 9000 on the Guest network interface and connectivity
is now fine out of the box.

Use "o" the letter, not "0" the number when you echo.
Once you do that, the server powers off in an instant, make sure you can start
it again, i.e. have physical access or ipmi.
