Hello,
Did anyone added a new zone via UI in cloudstack 4.17 with success? I
was not able to finish the setup, no option to continue /add ip address.
I created a bug report here :
https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/issues/6479

Cristian
Hi,
It seems some issue with the 'mount' permissions for the user. Are you able to
manually mount with the same user account?

Suresh

Hi!
I added a new zone to an ACS 4.16.1 with its own NFS server.
All is green in the UI, but the secondary storage vm is not starting.
I see nfs errors in the logs, and I suspect the error is related to the
SystemVM not been in the new zone secondary storage:
, but it's a manual process to import VHDs for recovery if disaster
strikes.

I'm running commercial CP 4.5 Hotfix 3 and we're about to deploy a second site.
I've been searching the CP and CS docs and mailing list for some of the
pitfalls and haven't found a lot of information so I'm jumping in here with
some questions. I'd love to learn from those who've done it
Hi Christopher,
Re seeding secondary storage with system VM tempate, it's best if you do,
however if the SSVM in the first zone has a route to the secondary storage in
the new zone you can use the copy template command.
If when you added other templates you added them as all zones and not
of the above steps, however I did see
the unknown API command addVmwareDC, when trying to add a vmware zone.

Try this: mvn clean install -P deps -Dnoredist; export
ACS_BUILD_OPTS=-Dnoredist; dpkg-buildpackage
