Good morning everyone,
I'm building templates for Windows Server 2022 on XenServer, which I plan
to import into CloudStack later. Since the CloudStack plugin doesn't
support keyboard commands yet, I'm using the XenServer plugin. I need to
install Cloudbase-Init on Windows, but currently, the only

Good morning guys,
Is there any updated guide to build windows templates for KVM? I have one
but I'm just checking with you guys the best approach. It is also required
to install virtio drivers and qemu guest agent right?
I have found the latest version of both, is this enough?

Not actually. You'll have to build one.
Thanks

Hi,
For me work very nice for windows 2008 and 2012 just with "cloud init"
installed on template.
1. install Windows from ISO, Set any password, enable rdp, you can also set
to off "IE sec" ( install drivers, apps if needed)
2. Restart.
3. Install "cloud init"

Has anyone came across a good way (or figured out) out end-to-end
automated windows template generation and cloudstack integration?
I'd like to lower my dependency on external tools as much as possible,
unless there is a reliable way of getting it to work.
Is there anything besides packer?

Hey all,
I am trying to set password management into a Windows VM without success. I am
using the application that is referred here:
http://docs.cloudstack.apache.org/projects/cloudstack-administration/en/4.5/templates.html#windows-os-ins
that program? How does it
know which user it has to change the password?
I had already set up the Linux password management; there I could select
which users it is going to change the password.
Is there any other program that I could use to manage password on my
Windows templates?
