I use saxon 7.6 and cocoon with java 1.4.1_02. I also built the cocoon 2.1
with this java version.
Maybe this causes the error.

Hi
I understand that if I deploy cocoon2.0.3 into a JVM1.4 environment I need avalon-excalibur-vm14-20020705.jar instead of the vm12 version.
But will avalon-excalibur-vm14-20020705.jar work under JVM1.3??

Hi,
we are using cocoon 2.1 with xsltc (version 1.4, xalan 2.5.0) as default
transformer. Now we want to use the xalan or exslt nodeset function, but
this is only possible with xalan xslt.
For testing purposes we tried a simple nodeset transformation from the
command line. We did that with the

Hi,
I tried in vain to install Cocoon. When I try to open the Cocoon welcome
page I get an empty page.
The Tomcat log shows the following stack trace:

the first and only thing i can say about it is:
use the latest version. at http://www.cocoon.apache.org you will find Cocoon
2.1.2 - released just today. Try with that.

Hello Alban,
TA Hi
TA is it possible to use log4j in cocoon 2.0.3 instead of the default one?

All is possible but it isn't so simple :-) To do you must rewrite many
lines of cocoon code.
But what is the reason to use log4j instead of logkit?
And why you use 2.0.3 insted of 2.0.4 or 2.1?

well. But all this just relates to the samples. If you create your own
