You probably don't have the Apache SNAPSHOT repo configured:
https://repository.apache.org/content/groups/snapshots/org/apache/flex/flexunit/
I'd strongly recommend to add that to your setup as that's where all the
bleeding edge stuf get's put ;-)

I'm sure I'm missing something really obvious here so I apologize in advance
for the stupid question. I've downloaded the files in the repository and
they are in a folder named 7.1.0-SNAPSHOT, but the file names have the build
number rather than snapshot (eg.
flexmojos-maven-plugin-7.1.0-20150425.1
Sorry Chris , I added the repo you suggested which fixed my flexunit problem
I think now getting the following error:
