If in the menu "Extra / Options / Paths" I set the value of "Temporary Files"
to an own directory, this seems to be ignored by this LO version.
Here on a Debian based Linux all temporary LO files go to the "/tmp"
directory, no matter what I set in the mentioned LO options.

I just renamed my user profile, and opened a brand new document using
the default template. I then experimented with the following steps.
Step 1: I setup three outline styles. I then typed the name of the
styles and applied the appropriate
Most developers don't read this list as it's designed to be about users
supporting one another. I suggest emailing the ux list as that's where user
experience is discussed by contributors (developers and non-developers).
