Thanks for pointing me to this bug description.
I wasn't aware of it.
Quite a few .odb files I'll have to edit by hand.
Some of them dating back to 2010!
It seems that for the sqllight .odb files there is an option under Edit →
Database → Advanced Settings
http://document-foundation-mail-archive
More precisely,
This happens only within odb files created with LibreOffice-6.0.6 and older.
And it is due to a setting of the driver , which is present in the
content.xml file, within the .odb file.
But if one alters the above setting like this:
OLD SETTING:
NEW SETTING:
Then in LibreOffice-6.
I have two simle mysql tables with no relationships set between them.
The database containing those tables is MariaDb and the JDBC driver I use to
connect is mariadb-java-client-2.2.6.
Both have a field named "num_vin" among various other fields.
And I created a simple form containing a subform.
file a bug report too, if this is a bug...
So, I beg for an excuse posting here , if this is not the place ...

The correct way to round the number will be to start at the rightmost
available digit and drop one digit at a time,
untill we reach the desired digit position.
At least this is correct in my oppinion.

I use LibreOffice 3.5.3.2 and the samples are present.
Perhaps it is a problem with the installation or the package?
What is your environment Linux/Windows ?

What baffles me though is that on right click open - we get the file
imported OK,
but if we are inside calc and we try to open the same file from within the
calc program - the same file gets opened into a writer/web program.
Why is this inconsistency ?
Best regards,
Some clarification on the matter.
The file in question has xml content, tags and all.
It used to be imported into a calc sheet if one opens it as a html calc
document.
The calc sheet looked like a normal sheet in an .ods file.
Now it opens in something remotely resembling a text table in writer

I have problems with the report builder, such as
when I insert any vert. or horiz. lines in no matter what section
of the report (be it header, footer or detail) it doesnot get drawn
in libreoffice 3.3.1 but gets drawn in openoffice 3.2.
I don't know if it will be drawn in openoffice 3.3.1, since
