Hi,
Do you have a roadmap detailing how long each Kafka version will be
supported with bug fixes?
We are currently running 1.1.x and given we may need to support this system
for a number of years I'd be interested to know what the support period is.
Especially given 2.0.x has been release
Hi Ismael,
That’s great news, is there anywhere in the docs showing an example?
Thanks,

Our community does not have a roadmap as such. But there are few

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone from kafka (users/dev or commits) can send or
direct me to the kafka software roadmap for 2017 and onwards.
Let me know if I need to subscribe or if this is available somwhere on your

Greatly appreciated!

Hello Szymon,
Currently the community do not have regular time-based release plans for

I too could benefit from an updated roadmap.
We're in a similar situation where some components in our stream processing
stack could use an overhaul, but I'm waiting for the offset API to be fully
realized before doing any meaningful planning.

Howdy,
I was wondering if it would be possible to update the release plan:

The new producer client is available in trunk. We plan to release that in
the next release (0.8.2). The new consumer client is being developed now
and will be released after that. I updated that wiki.
