Is there a way to set the TON and NPI setting for a connection to an SMSC?

Is kannel capable of routing between two SMSCs using smpp? For example, we
configure the two SMSCs and define the allowed MIN ranges for each one. If
we receive a message from SMSC1 with a destination in the range of SMSC2.
Does kannel route this message to SMSC2?

I have installed one of the latest Kannels CVS snapshots, to test the fixes in sending
normal SMS over an phone using the at2 driver.
Some Versions ago i must set the message length now its automated limited to 44 Chars
per SMS.

I am havign a similar problem in thread area compiling latest cvs (docs
related). I am running Debian unstable - have all the tetex, jade
docbook stuff installed I can think of. Does it look like I have a
package missing or is it a possible version difference?

No, I don't think Kannel will be useful for testing your wrapper. It does
not behave like a SMSC. What you need a simulator for CIMD SMSC. Get latest
CVS and look into test dir for test_cimd2.c, it provides testing utility for
Kannel connecting to CIMD2 SMSC.
