Hi all, I'm trying to send an SMS message to my Kannel server that uses a Siemens TC35 modem. The message does not seem to be received but if I take the SIM card out and put it in a phone I then get the message. The initialisation log is as follows: INFO: Kannel bearerbox II version 1.1.6 start

Which is likely to be more reliable a mobile phone or a GSM modem as a SMSC. I have had Kannel working well with a Nokia phone as SMSC until a power cut screwed things up. Assuming I get the system back working again is it worth me replacing the phone with a GSM modem for long term reliability or

I see that phone-as-SMSC is supported in Kannel but I can't find any documentation as to how to set it up. I am trying to use a Nokia 6210 as SMSC with version 1.0.3 but I'm going nowhere fast. Can anyone point me to some suitable documentation / examples PLEASE! Kenn Martin *
