I am currently using Kannel in Australia (with a Wavecom GSM modem) for SMS
and things have been working well for over a year.
I have now got a customer in America and I need the ability to send and
receive SMS messages in the United States.
I don't know a whole lot about the US mobile network, b

as far as I know standalone kannel doesn't have
credits or accounts ..
you can parse a text file in order to get some
statistics.
in my opininion every serious kannel installation
should have a billing/archiving/logging/post-pre-processing
backend..
Can someone let me see a demo of the software? i can't install by myself

I woulkd know what features kannel have: how manages the credits and accounts?

It seems CMS Error: 500 isnot due to a single particular reason (i.e. there
are several things that might generate this error message).
So it might be difficult to explain the cause to your problem.
Things that I noted might cause CMS Error: 500
1) Mistake (wrong digit) in smsc

For example yor tsm smsc:
