Bill,
The purposes of this MMSC would
be the receiving of textual messages and
the sending of textual messages with maybe optionally
graphic
information (jpeg).
Our current service uses simple SMS messages but runs
into the 160 character limit. We also have a plans on
putting in

Hi,
I have used Kannel for Gemplus OTA.
All I needed is to make sure Kannel is sending the message with PID = 7F fo
and DCS = F6.
Hope this info is helpful to you.
Thanks
Andrew

Congratulations about it !
We are working in
Hey Everyone,
Using kannel, I'm connected to a tanla solutions SMSC via SMPP3.4.
I'm encountering a possible character set issue. When users send a message to us with
an '_' (underscore) character in it, it arrives as a different character. (a wierd
ascii character that looks a blurry S).

Are there plans to add MMSC capabilities to Kannel?
It is being worked out ;)
Dear users,
If you need to push MMS indication with Kannel,
you may download a script from
mms.mobile2go.com
PHP + Html, only smsbox required, very handy and
convenient.
