I tried to set this up this week and after a lot of scouring the
internet, I too found an article on somelist.com :-) (probably the same
one)
I found out that doing it like this worked for me.
group = smsc
smsc = smpp
smsc-id = nsi1
...
preferred-smsc-id = nsi1
enquire-link-interval = 60

But now I want to connect phone to Kannel by USB.
When I trying to send SMS longer then 17 chars SMSBOX givesCMS ERROR:
[5] ERROR: AT2[/dev/ttyUSB0]: CMS ERROR: +CMS ERROR: 304

Must you define the get-url?
If so, is the url the same as the url you'd use when making a SMS request
over HTTP?
