Hi list,
before I go and buy a Siemens TC35i modem, I'd like to know if anyone is
using it successfully with kannel or if there are any known problems.
Thanks, Dave.

I would like to connect to a WAP gateway through
GPRS, and fetch a simple wap page. (The UDP level of the stack
is working now.)
I read through the standards about WTP and
WSP, but however an example would be very helpful.
Does anyone have an example (eg. a package dump
Try first with dial-up link (CSD). GPRS has problems of its own

Dear Arno,
Thank You for the quck reply.
I have to confess that I don't try this connection
on the Kannel gateway, just on my GSM operator's WAP gateway.

I think I came over the GPRS part of the
connection, I can send UDP packeges and I receive answer packages like

Hi,
I was told that kannel 1.2.1 did not deal with non-unique do tags. A fix

EMS is supposed to be an standard, so all manufacturers _should_ use
the same headers.
I've never tried with vCards and vCals, but I did tested delivery for
Ringtones and Logos and I've always used the same headers for all
manufacturers (and it worked).
EMS headers are somewhat cumbersome
But for vCards, don't different manufacturers have different header specifications? As I'm still new to this, I need a bit more detailed info :).

As I've said, I've never tried with vCards, sorry. As far as I know,
many phones recognize a text message that starts as "BEGIN:VCARD" as a
vCard (That's not EMS of course!) and Nokia has it's own
implementation over SmartMessaging (binary) or //SCKL (text). Neither
are EMS also.
I've read that th
