I downloaded Kannel 1.4.0
when i complied in my redhat 7.2 box i got the follwing
error.
cc1: Unrecognized option `-Wmissing-format-attribute'
i ran the configure script like this
./configure --enable-pcre --enable-warnings
--with-malloc=native --enable-assertions
--enable-start-stop-daemon

We are using kannel 1.4.0 on Red Hat ES.
We had a problem when submitting a message to a smpp smsc.
When the operator rejects the message (because they do not cover the route)
they returm error code 0x0008 in response to submit_sm. Apparently
kannel interpreats this error code as
