Some nokia phones does not support CNMI command. Thus you can not use that phone to receive messages. There is a workarround however that is using sim-buffering in your modem config. Check UG for more info Regards Alvaro

Hi, maybe it is not a real queue solution, but a simple php script for parsing the GET/POST params and store the messages on a database could work on most cases; using the same script to generate the reply 'MT' could work but be careful since if the scripts takes a lot of time to finish/process

I am having trouble getting the binary sms to configure phones. The phones (nokia c3, navigator, e 63) receive a text sms instead of a configuration SMS. I have tried various things (below are examples)... using settings in the config -

Before changing your mobile, make sure that it doesn't support the CNMI command. Using minicom or another serial communication program, type: AT+CNMI? If it responds with error, your modem doesn't support the CNMI command and you will have problems getting incoming MOs. HTH, Nikos On Mon, Aug
