'generic' for the modem type, it determines that it should use the gen
edia.org/wiki/Percent-encoding) and so becomes
'%23' in the HTTP request to smsbox. So there's no unintended split.

to offer the functionality via PID and mclass (table 6-16. SMS Push
(send-sms) CGI Variables)?

nce I had on Cygwin
(Windows), where smsbox used to go down after 5 minutes of operation.
Although, funnily enough, I never received any send errors (except when
I had a wrong modem type selected).

Have you configured Kannel to use a database for
DLR storage? if not it stored them in memory hashes until they are completed. I
found Kannle used MUCH less memory once I had DLR's into the DB.

Depends on the platform you are using if you are wanting to use a utility
program. The hard way (but will work for all platforms of course) is to simply
overload the malloc() sys call to your own which logs the mem allocations and
keeps track of it.
