ure --with-cflags='-pthread' --with-libs='-lc_r -lkse' --disable-docs --disable-wap --disable-ssl --with-mysql --with-mysql-dir=/usr/local works for me. given patch will not work without the above --with-libs. So, if you're using gateway-1.3.2, you'll have to do configure --with-cflags='-pthread' --with-libs='-lc_r -lkse'.
