HTTP response returned on the call made by sms-service?
Thank you for any insight you can provide.

The problem though is that I'm using smpp. (I verified against my SMSC that
the format coming back is indeed ::)
So I guess my question is, should I just hard-code my local install to
append the destination? Or is there a better approach or some configuration
flat I'm just not seeing?
Thanks!

Hi,
recently switched to a new SMSC and started getting the following error:
2007-05-11 11:41:33 [14907] [8] ERROR: SMPP: Unknown
TLV(0x0210,0x0001,34) for PDU type (deliver_sm) received!
version = kannel 1.4.0, libxml 2.6.26
I'd appreciate any help.
Rene,
I'd like to test this patch out, but don't have a Clickatell account.
I do have an account at another sms site, offering a HTTP API.
What and where should I change in your patch, to make it compatible
with the other site? In other words, what is specific to Clickatell?
Thanks,
Robert

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

ill, I only get type=8 DLR (checked the smsbox log). Anybody
knows what may cause this?
Peter, would you be so kind, and share your conf file?
Thank you

Thanks for the clarifications, Pong. Indeed, with coding=2, it works.
Somebody else installed Kannel in the first place, and now I am trying
to make it work with what I have. Seems that I should install the
stable release, so the User's Guide would also match the code.

So, why does Kannel report that the coding field is misformed?
I was able to successfully send SMS in Greek, specifying:
coding = 2
charset = ISO-8859-7
I use Kannel cvs-20040311.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks and regards
Robert
What sort of modems does one use for the kannel interface, and where does
one buy them? I presume "ordinary" modems don't do the job?
If I use a phone as a sending/receiving device, is the modem-connection via
IR just as suitbale, or Bluetooth for that matter?
thanks
Robert
I have an Ericsson T630, I can
set up a profile that goes directly to my gateway/server, not via the
telco's I believe.
anyway - If some kind soul would care to clarify this fundamental operation
a bit for me, I'd most appreciate it.
Thank you

this thing, or do I really need to do the Level III Diploma via the
User Guide just to get up and running. :-)
If there is anyone who can help with a set of workable conf files and
instructions - I'd be very grateful. If not, that's ok too. I'll just go
back to lurking.
thanks

sc-id instead of allowed-sms-id, Kannel
status reports that sms were sent, but only through the alac SMSC,
even if I specify "smsc-id=mw" in the URL.
What could be wrong, and how do you guys use denied-smsc-id,
allowed-smsc-id and preferred-smsc-id to achieve the desired effect?
I check in Kannel's status). I use such an URL to send SMS:
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:13033/cgi-bin/sendsms?username=x&password=x&from=robert&to=x&text=test
I've searched through the list, and tried to use some of the (partial)
