I never was able to send SMS with characteres ç,Ç,é. The final result
in the mobiles shows always messages with c,C,e.
I've tried to use the according with the Kannel 3.1.2 version documentation.

to kannel. But I never saw in the sms received on the mobiles the characteres
ç,Ç,´ wich are suppposed to appear in the sms message.

Carla,
You're probably not setting the smsc field, our you're setting it to
something that doesn't match with any of your smsc connections.
Check on the access log, sms-request entries should display which smsc
you're trying to use (if any)
