I am having a problem with one of our smpp connections, when recieving sms from
mobile users, the shortcode number is haing a + sign in from and then kannel
fails to map the sms to the services. I have installed kannel on Fedora 11
using yum how can i correct this.

I faced the similar problem, here is the solution
In implementing kannel 1.4.1, we found that messages were getting
rejected by kannel with the following error
Malformed
,+15747 (do I still need this?)
