Well back in centos/redhat/fedora directory server this could be done like
this:
First you should check what certificates names you have in certutil
database. In slapd directory type:
certutil -d . -L
this should show you all certificates in database (server certificates
aswell). Usualy CA

apparently you have to go into the Directory tab in the directory
server and create a domain object because its not automatically
created when you create the database under the sub dn

Thanks for the reply as I mentioned in my previous email I assumed that
when I created the sub suffix database for dc=b,dc=example,dc=com it would
automaticly add the dn to the database but it doesn't so I manualy added it
and it works now.

the message entry on the screen gets a line through it but the entry
remains.
Now on both my Fedora 17 installations when a message is deleted the
