You can use the chromium-freeworld from UnitedRPMs
(https://unitedrpms.github.io/); It works fine with widevine, flash, vaapi... I
am playing Netflix, Vimeo...
Good luck

This test allowed Firefox to work properly, I have detachable tabs and
the dropdowns working again. So now we think we know what is causing
the problem, the question now is how to fix it?
In my case I've simply chosen the

I just upgraded my main machine to Fedora 31 this weekend and have the
same tab issue. I'm using Gnome. I don't seem to have any trouble
with drop down menus though. My laptop has been running Fedora 31
since it was released but I rarely detach tabs there so I can't say if
it is working (it's
I tried safemode, and was still unable to detach tabs.
I also found something interesting, from the "about:preferences" page
when I first start the web browser I can select the drop down menus, eg,
default fonts, size etc, however once I attempt to detach a tab the
dropdown tabs no longer

What does *crash* mean? I am running F31 without issues.

What do you mean by "crash"?
Do you have any logs or other information?

I now deleted ~/.mozilla and ~/.cache/mozilla and allowed firefox to
recreate the files/directories upon restart.
I've also noticed that not only can I not tear tabs off to a new window,
many dropdown menu boxes will not work. This is not only on web pages
but from within the browser.

I can't be certain. But I think it will.
You may want to file a BZ about the missing python2 package.

After upgrading to Fedora 31 I've run into an issue with Firefox, I can
no longer detach a tab from the browser to put it into its own window.
I can drag a tab to another open browser window or to another position
within the same browser window but I can not drag it to a new window by
itself.
I have had F31 Workstation crash twice first after an upgrade from F30
and secondly on installing from F31 from DVD.
F30 is fine.
Anyone else experienced any problems ?

Hi
I've got a Fedora 29 desktop that I thought it was time to upgrade. But
there was a problem. When I ran
dnf system-upgrade download --refresh --releasever=30
I get the following error
Problem: package python2-btchip-0.1.28-1.fc29.noarch requires python2-
hidapi, but none of the providers
