any response, so I thought I'd check here before filing a bug.
On a fully updated Fedora 20, I've had the following problems importing
images from a Canon EOS SL1 since the update from digikam 3.5 to 4.0

upgraded F34 -> F35 & digikam no longer runs.
From the CL:
digikam: symbol lookup error: /lib64/libspatialite.so.7: undefined

it looks like Digikam has some problems in Fedora 16. If you try to
make Digikam create a new DB in MySQL (or to migrate an old one to
MySQL) you get an error like "cannot create tables in the database".

I tried Digikam 2.3 from the testing repo and the problem is still
there. MySQL DBs cannot be created. Digikam is able to create the
tables in the digikam profile, but not in the thumbnails one. It looks

but w/o a /usr/share/applications/digikam.desktop, its not an option
in default application selection.
anyone know how to find thie as all i see is kde options, ...

Hi all,
I just noticed that my digikam (digikam 5.4.0-2.fc25, libimobiledevice
1.2.0-8.fc25) detects my Iphone (most recent IOS updates) as camera but
fails to display photos. I did not find a bug that describes the
behaviour. Can anyone confirm?

It quit working for me about a week ago, after an ios update I believe.
I found another iPhone app that sends thephotos via wifi to my Firefox
browser where I can do what I want with them but that is not very
convenient.
I am hoping the problem will go away eventually ... :-(

Albums are all there, rescan collection does not do any difference.
Digikam did not update itself today, still 2.5.0-3.fc16.
When I click on an Album, it gives me a:
