Are you using CentOS/RHEL and the standalone Sunstone server? There is a
bug in the startup scripts for this distribution and novnc server is not
started. You can check if the novnc proxy is started with this command:
$ ps axuww | grep websocketproxy

Maybe is not exactly what you want but I think this can be
accomplished with scheduled actions:
