Hi Baye,
the main issue is to carefully design your DNS environment. You already need
a DNS domain for OpenIMS.
So, if you have a DNS domain for OpenIMS in place and a different one for
OpenSIPS, all should work automatically. If you send a request from an
OpenSIPS user towards OpenIMS it shou

I would also favour "This list". I'm subscribed to a bunch of mailing
lists, and in those where the 'Poster' is configured I sometimes get
emails only sent to me, which may hide some interesting information
for the mailing list archive.
Just my 2 cents,

I would favour "This List." This is the way that most mailing lists
seem to work in my experience, and it does the maximum to encourage
discussion to stay on the list -- which is good, and serves the aim of
keeping the discussion public, on record, archivable and searchable.

Please ... could be possible to setup the mailling list as "normal" mailling
lists that with "Reply" just send the reply to the list and not to personal

Hi Laurent,
For hanging up a call from the middle (trigger by whatever event), you
do not need something so complex as the b2bua.
You can simply use the dialog support and configure in rtpproxy (on the
media timeout event) to trigger the "dlg_end_dlg" MI command to BYE the
call from the middle

Hello,
I see that rtpproxy has a new option to detect that no RTP packet is send in
a call (RTP timeout) and that now opensips implement a B2Bua.
I need to know if we can link the RTPproxy with this new B2Bua so if no
RTP packet is send during a call, the B2Bua will stop the call by sendi
Hi Julien,
To be honest, in 90% of the case, a "smart" ALG is guilty for messing
around with the SIP messages. Try ngrepping the request when going out
from OpenSIPS and when being received by "PArtner" and see if "pix"
screwed it up .

Right now, I beleive this is only taking place when the call come in from a
certain subnet inside a the PIX firewall, so it may be a miss config on the
firewall.
I need to investigate further.

Hi Grygoriy,
just my (other) 2 cents on this.
the calls in the queue (as time as the fr_inv_timer is the same) will
jump out from queue in the same order as entered (more or less).
the biggest problem is (as you said) to avoid new calls to be delivered
before the queued one.
So, what you can

Hi Julien,
yes, the Content len hdt contains the len of the body in chars (what the
body is, including all the chars in there).
In your case, you send a call from Eyebeam to OpenSIPS and you relay it
further to another client which replies with the error?

The next free webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, August 12, 2009. The topic is
"Types of Routes in OpenSIPS"
This webinar will help you to understand how routing is done by OpenSIPS. How

Hi Dovid,
OpenSIPS allocates the mem pool (the 268 M) at startup and after that it
will not request more mem from OS - this is way the traditional ways to
inspect mem usages (like "top") does not work.
To inspect the memory usage (inside the pool), use statistics support:

"Better" is in the eye of the beholder. Or, perhaps in these cases, in the
eye of the implementer. If topology hiding is the only B2BUA-style feature

Hello Alex,
First of all Thanks for ur Attention and quick response.
If I use the OPTION then on Asterisk I m getting following:

These releases contain bug fixes discovered at the last SIPIT in Tokio

Asterisk does not respond to these. Try using the OPTIONS method instead.

Hello,
I am using Opensips and Asterisk for my call flow.
I am using 3 Asterisks for call forwarding. Opensips's dispatcher module is
doing the task of load balancing among all 3 Asterisk servers in a round
robin fashion. i. e.
1st call to 1st Asterisk
2nd call to 2nd Asterisk
3rd call to 3rd As

Hello,
There is a new release of MSRPRelay available,
This software implements an MSRP relay (RFC 4976), which is an
extension to the MSRP
protocol (RFC 4975). Its main role is to help NAT traversal of
Interactive Messaging and
file transfer sessions for SIP/MSRP endpoints located behind NAT.
I did a bit more digging. If I am reading things right shm total size is set
to 268 megs. OpenSipS is not showing the memory consumption as what it is
using (meaning that it shows < 268 megs yet if I restart OpenSipS it free's
up 2-3 gigs of memory).
