Hello All!
2012/8/13 Bogdan-Andrei Iancu bog...@opensips.org:
Hello all,
We plan to have 1.8.1 minor version released by Wednesday 15th of August.
Once again, a minor release includes only bug fixes (on the 1.8 major
branch).
Great news!
Speaking of me - so far I've got only three patches

Well, whether you go to SIP-School or not, i would like to suggest that
knowing and learning the technology is far more important then getting
certified. I have 10+ years experience in VOIP and i have worked for 4
major companies in EU and USA, and believe me no one ever asked me in a job

Hello,
I have 2 registrar servers setup. What I want to do is enable custom SIP
domains for users. They can create an SRV record including the 2 registrar
servers of mine. The problem arises during an incoming call to the
registered endpoint.
When I do *(lookup(location))*
$rd must be the domain
There is a pretty good book out there to learn sip, it won't teach you
asterisk or OpenSIPS just sip, once u really understand sip OpenSIPS will
be a breeze, knowing c type language basics will help too, the name of the
book is SIP Understanding the Session Initiation Protocol third edition

Hi Saul,
The idea with the apply_changes is not the most fortunate, I would say
- mainly as it is difficult to use and needs scripting. Why difficult?
basically you should keep track of changes over the body and decide when
to call it from script. Like in your case you should call it before
Hi guys,
actually this patch is somewhere in the middle. As not parsing the WS is
VIA results is lack of interoperability with other SIP entities. This
may be labeled as bug, but here is a very thin line between bug and
feature, as Saul said.

Hi Kunal,
Rewriting of $rd is perfectly save before the lookup() function.

Hi Nathaniel,
Instead of u_int32_t it should be uint32_t ? this a newly added module,
so it may have Solaris compatibility issues.
Regarding the linking error, the reference to getnstr() is the only
error you get ? or there are other missing symbols also reported ?
Thanks and Regards,
Hi,
I am running opensips 1.6 as TCP proxy. I am facing problem when I use
multiple proxy in my N/w.
UA1-- TCP proxy(opensips 1.6)---Other Proxy UA2
UA1 adds 2 Route headers in INVITE.
In this scenario TCP proxy does not add Record Route in INVITE.
