Hello,
What you mean by "in local route" ? the db_extra_bye is for ACC
module, and the accounting process is not related to th the local
route. Could you please detail your report ?

Hello,
What do you understand by distributed dialogs ? to replicate the
dialog info to another OpenSIPS Server ?

Hello Saul,
We will look into the particularities of TLS as TCP based proto - just
to see how TLS may be affected.

Hello Tito,
The seas module is not maintained for some time.
May I ask what kind of concept are you trying to build? maybe I can
point you a different direction.

Hello,
The dialog modules does not flush dialogs from memory in realtime to DB
(see the docs for the db_mode in dialog module).
To get an exact listing on the dialogs, use the dlg_list_dlg MI
command from dialog module.

Hello Tarik,
There are no known issues with 1.8 . Do you have data on crashes (like
backtraces or so) ? could you share the test setup you are using? Maybe
we can replicate the problem on our end.

Hi, Bogdan!
I want to request for $DLG_end_reason_q850 (or like this) in Dialog module,
which implements Q.850 codes for dialog end.
I think, this variable much more useful then $DLG_end_reason. I know - Q.850
(Q.931) codes are not 1-to-1 compatible with SIP-codes, but users need some

Hello Yuri,
It may be a syslog problem IMHO. What you can do is to set log_stderror
= yes in your cfg - this will make opensips to write to console instead
of syslog. If you see the logs, it means there is no problem with
opensips, but rather with syslog.

Hello Santosh,
The Load Balancing module does routing only based on the load of the
destination (how many calls are ongoing on each destination).
You can look also at the dDispatcher module, where you have multiple
algorithm for distributing calls. See :

Hello Vishnu,
You can look at the opensips logs or network traces to see what's
happening. No one can tell you what's wrong with your system because we
don't know what you have done. You need to do your debugging and post
specific question that can be answered.

Hi all,
I’ve noticed some very strange behaviour with our opensips config and can’t
seem to figure out why it is happening.
I use this method (brief) to determine when to use dynamic routing,
if (is_method(INVITE)) {
t_on_failure(missed_call);
Hi Bogdan,
I had not, that's a new concept for me. I'll see what I can do. Changing
from localhost to LAN IPs did solve the problem of processes not shutting
down properly, however. Just the already freed memory

On Thu,
Bogdan, what i'm interested in is 3 things. I'll expand on the distributed
dialog request:
1. Have multiple Opensips write their dialog data to the cachedb engine of my
choice so that if one goes down the others can respond for that dialog.
(assuming i do ip failover etc.) I know the Binary
Hi all,
We're seeing a possible issue in OpenSIPS related to the timely
processing of replies. For example, OpenSIPS receives a REGISTER and
passes it on to our application server (which is the registrar). The
registrar receives it within the same second and generates the response
(a 401
Thank you! I'll give that a shot!

Hello,
I would like any advice on how-to build opensips for an ARM system ?
here are my points :
1. cross-compiling ok, after patching some files :
~$ file opensips

shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.0.0, not stripped

Hello Samuel,
OpenSIPS is already built for a handfull of embedded devices via the

opensips, you can find it here:

Thanks for input Bogdan. I would like to add weight dynamically to
destinations based on their health (resource capability and not solely
based on their status as Active from options probing) so that number of
calls on each destination also is controlled on their resource capability

Hi, Ollie!
What are you really want to do with calls from another gateway? In practice,
these calls are dropping with error 404.
Or you may to do something in other route...
if (is_method(INVITE)) {
if(!is_from_gw()) {
Seems opensips is acting as transport bridge between udp and tcp, so,
do the SIP replies actually arrive at same interface (transport + ip +
port) from where the request was sent, and opensips is listening to that
interface? Can you share SIP trace with us?
Also, are you using any custom
