im newbie in roundcube business and i have got a problem with connection
with mysql database.
there is my configuration:

From the roundcubeinstall webpage, I run the Test IMAP Config and I can
log in.

Problem was not dovecot login, but roundcube itself. I misunderstood what:
$config['auto_create_user'] =
meant, that this was the roundcube user, not the dovecot/postfix user
(which was already created). Changed it from false to true and it works
now.
