Hi,
I haven't been able to build from the CVS the latest two weeks or so -
when the reactor attempts to build the first plugin (the ANT), I get a
"unknown goal clean".
It seems that the plugin dir is cleaned out, and then the reactor looks
for the plugins in the empty plugin di
ns-build. I also tried the cvs commands for the junit-report
plugin,
and all I got from the checkout was a couple of empty directories.
Is there a different place I need to go for source?

No, if you build from CVS HEAD, you won't get the plugins in maven-plugins
at all, right now. That might change soon.
Bootstrapping from CVS now gives a minimal Maven install, and you can then
selectively instal plugins either by plugin:download, or building them from
maven-plugins CVS
Hi,
I notice that the plugins are in a different CVS module than maven.
Does it mean that if I build maven from CVS HEAD, I will not necessarily get the
CVS HEAD version of a specific plugin, but the version that is on ibiblio?

In case anyone cares, I've found a solution to this problem. The issue

Right, but out-of-the-box, the Maven POM only supports one CVS location
(right?)--native support for multiple CVS instances would be another discussion
