If you want to see the "hack" to accomplish this, take a look at my
previous reply to Veit [1]. I believe it still works, though it's ugly.
Another way to prevent page scrolling to top is to use AJAX requests...
though that opens up a whole new bag of worms. :)

Hi.
This has been asked several times ago (including myself). But nobody knew a
solution for this. I switched off AUTO_SCROLL completely and live with this
pain. Actually it didn't bother me too much to grab the myfaces/tomahawk
sources to add this functionality.
