As it turns out we have a pretty big security hole in JSF 2.x (myfaces and

Theorically there are 2 options:
1. Use MyFaces core 2.1.0-SNAPSHOT.
2. Use prefix mapping for your pages instead suffix mapping.

updated, you will have to bind them to a managed bean
two DEBUG-Messages could be interesting:
14:00:08,226 DEBUG [JsfView] Asking view handler to render view
14:00:08,226 DEBUG [JsfView] View rendering complete
So there is a view-handler, but it seems to do nothing (also look at the
time stamp).
Any suggestions are appreciated :)

messages you could add a custom mechanism (responsewriter,
maybe an event handler ), which drags them directly in and use the
extensions tag for this purpose, but then you have to parse them out also
via an event handler.

So, my suggestion after further investigation is to change
EnumConverter.getAsString(..) to follow that convention, that is, to simply
return the specified value if it's an instance of String.
