Hi again,
I'm still struggling with the scalebar problem I described earlier (see
below). Does anyone see an error in the code I posted? Do I need to provide
additional information? Please let me know if I need to give more input.
Thanks again in advance!
Best regards,

Hi again,
I'm still trying to get the WFS-layer to show up in Firefox. I don't
understand why the vector doesn't show up in Firefox, although I do get it
in IE. The proxy I tried setting up doesn't seem to help either. Details can
be found below. If any more are needed, please let me know, I'm
Hello everyone,
I've just switched my web interface to openlayers and I am impressed of
what it can do! Good job to the developers and the community.
I wanted to ask if it has been previously discussed/planned an
integration (or even if it's possible) with Wikimapia
(www.wikimapia.org)? It
Hi,
usually when you do not get a reply to a question within a day, then
there is probably information missing that would allow for quick
examination of the problem. So just re-posting the same question may
not be the best way to get a reply.
In this specific case, we know that you are using the
Hi,
again, instead of just re-posting your original question, you should
consider re-posting with additional information. In this case,
providing a sample output from your WFS request would help.
In addition, at quick glance, I see a few things that are wrong:

Hi,
I was trying to get a Blue Marble [1] background from some public
available service.
I see that there is a standard WMS server here [2] which it works
using the OpenLayers.Layer.WMS() function. But the server is not
very reliable (several 500 Internal Server Error).
I also used a

I want to load a bunch of markers onto an existing map, and I want to
register a function to react to a click event. The function will create
a popup and get some content through an ajax call to display on
Dear all,
I am using successfully the SelectFeature control with a list of layers but,
since my application allows the users to add other GeoRSS and KML layers
dynamically, I would like to make them selectable.
Looking at the code it seems it is not implemented. In your opinion what is

Hi,
I tried to remove as much junk as possible to make a simple demo of
what I'm trying to do (1). Here's the link to the js file (2).
Using firebug, you can see that Insert works, but Modify/Delete
don't. Any small hint would be appreciated.

Dear users, Dear Bart,
thank you very much,
absolutely great, geatfeature-wfs seems indeed to solve the WFS performance
problem.
The wms/wfs implemented by on mapserver-file works by the way like that:

In February of 2008 Tim Schaub sent an email about a patch in his sandbox
that used a minkowski sum (I think) to create a client-side buffer. The
end results typically had self-intersections. He mentioned that an
upgraded version(as an external library) might be on the way that included
