Would it not be possible to just delete the folders and then run a registry
cleaner to ferret out any leftover visages?

If the folder will not delete, there are free programs, "Unlocker," and
"Glary Utilities," that should solve the problem.

My best guess is that the windows add/remove stuff works by looking at
the windows registery. Removing a program probably looks in the
registery to see where the installer is located (but I am guessing).
If this points to a CD, that is a problem and you cannot rem

Hi. If my hunch is correct that you're using Windows, you may have to
uninstall it through the Control Panel > Programs & (?). If the instruction
to insert a disk thru this method is the result, then indeed it is a very
weird, irritating situation. Hope you'll get your solution soon.
