Another way to do it is to:
Format
Cells…
Borders
…and define the borders around cells which can be of varying thicknesses,
colors, spacing to content, or even shadowed.

That isn't correct James. The grid lines can be printed by ticking the
right box in Page Set Up. I can't give you the full procedure as at the moment
as I haven't time to run through it. But if someone else doesn't come up with
the answer I'll do it later.Alan.

I have 3 text files on my Open office programme. When I tried to open them
recently I got a message 'Access Denied' also 'You do not have permission to
access this file'.
I am an elderly man. I struggle to understand the website jargon. so I need a
human being to intervene.
I tried to copy
In the Help under grids > displaying lines (Calc) it says: choose Format
- Page - Sheet and mark the Grid checkbox.

Hi James,
the cell grid lines won't print. You have to add cell borders (menu item
/Format/Cells.../ tabpage Borders; within the format bar there's also an
entry called Borders)

Hi Erki,
On my laptop with Windows 11, OpenOffice starts and runs fine. This does not
mean that I can say that all possible functions will work. There are quite a
few things I haven't tried yet... ;-)))
Have fun with OO.
Kind regards,
Gerrit

I think the question would be better worded "Is it possible to use
Windows 11, with Open Office?"
