On a PC if I open a file, open office automatically opens, and reads
the file, and does it quickly. On the Mac, the file opens as a text
file unless I remember to preload up open office, which takes many
seconds to load, after which I can work away. What I want is for open

Since a short time I cannot open a .pps file in an enclosure sent to me by
e-mail.
When I click on it there is no reaction.
Right-click gives the opportunity to install it in a folder, however it does
not happen.
Also a right-click on Open gives no reaction.
