So far no feedback and no resolution. I even removed the previous
install and made a clean install of OOo 2.4.1 and still no result. The
font viewers of KDE and GNOME see the fonts and display them correctly
but OpenOffice 2.4.x is a failure.

I downloaded the Suse 10.x version of Open Office version 2.4.0 and
later 2.4.1 both fail to render my collection of true type fonts
correctly. 2.3.x worked fine. Somewhere in the libraries is a flaw.
Only the preincluded fonts which came with the system work in OOo 2.4.x.

About one in ten renders correctly using OOo 2.4.0 in targz format not
the RPM for SuSE 10.0. Before this I have never had a problem. Fonts
were linked in using spadmin.
