I recorded a simple macro in Open Office.calc and tried to run it by clicking
"run". All that happened was that the spreadsheet disappeared from my screen! I
had to "receover" it to look at it again.
In "security", I had ticked "low security".

I have downloaded "Openoffice" from a DVD supplied with this month's "POC
Advisor". I have got as far as a folder on my desktop called "Openoffice"
installalation files, but I don't know where to go from there!
How do I open "Openoffice" please?

I use Lotus Smartsuite and there is a way of writing macros using {LEFT},
{RIGHT}, {END}{DOWN} and @ Functions.
Is there anything similar in Open Office, and if there is, please could you
give ma a simple way to get started?
Please bear in mind that I am by no means a computer Whizz kid!!
