I use Lotus Smartsuite and there is a way of writing macros using {LEFT}, 
{RIGHT}, {END}{DOWN} and @ Functions.
Is there anything similar in Open Office, and if there is, please could you 
give ma a simple way to get started?
Please bear in mind that I am by no means a computer Whizz kid!!
