Launchpad is a users' and developers' forum for reporting and fixing trouble. The one I know and used is for Ubuntu, bugs.launchpad.net. Hunt it down. It may look like shouting at the Moon, but Launchpad users sent back to me. The GRUB 1.97~Beta4 update problem was cured within three weeks.
