Can anybody help me please (in very simple terms) to insert a TOTAL at the end
of a £ column in a report, I have a very simple database consisting of details
of items of stock including a VALUE AT COST field and I simply want to place a
Grand Total at the end of the report.

I have made three attempts this morning to install OO 3.3 resulting in failure
- the attached error message preventing the program opening. I have now
uninstalled it and re-installed OO 3.2 which (thankfully) seems OK.
In my many years of downloading/installing numerous versions of OO, this i

- the simple answer was, in file types, to change the ezm files to open with
WordPad instead of Word

Is there any way I can make the default setting for spreadsheet Header/Footer
settings with no entries ? For a single printed sheet I dont normally want
Sheet/Page numbers to print, and I would rather not have to remember to turn
them off every time I print!

My thanks to all you friends who took interest in my problem. I think I have
accidentally stumbled on the cure myself. I noticed that (probably since
upgrading to IE7) IE had not been checked as my default browser. All seems to

Just as a post-script to this string - Has anyone else noticed that using the
Title case option in the Font effects will only work with text in Lower Case.
If the text is created in Upper Case it wont convert to Title Case. A bit more
flexibility would be useful.

I seem to have encountered a problem with creating an OO database from existing
spreadsheets. As far as I can remember with earlier builds of OO it worked OK,
but with 1.9.100, and now with 1.9.113 the table refuses to open. Connecting to
my .dbf files works OK, but not to Excel or OO .ods sprea

I know this is not exactly an Open Office question, but I am sure somebody can
answer this one for me. On a lot of Web Sites I visit, I cannot access a lot of
links that appear to be Java script - and I get an 'Error on Page' message. Not
knowing the first thing about Java and what it does, and
g properly. I have JavaScript enabled in both IE and
Firefox but still occasionally encounter pages that report JavaScript
errors.
Sometimes it's the scripts themselves that are to blame.
