In openSUSE 10.2 64 bit, OO 2.2 still crashes the whole system sometimes
when doing a new startup of writer or calc and then clicking on the
file menu. System must be power cycled or hardware reset to get out of
the problem.

On openSUSE 10.2 Linux, I have used ctrl-right click to drag the icons
for writer and calc to the desktop. The names are so long that all that
shows is "OpenOffice.org 2.2 ...".
I have renamed them to "00 2.2 writer", so I then can figure what it
is. But they default back to origional.
