I had a similar series of problems because I bought a Mac on eBay. It
had OS X preinstalled
and should have had the OS X CD but didn't. I finally had to go to an
Apple dealer and
buy a new CD. I wish I had not bought it on eBay. Try to dispute
through eBay ASAP and
it has to be
Possibly the software saved the document aiutomatically, even though
you didn't realize it, and then froze or didn't respond. If that
happened,
the software may have saved it somewhere where you don't know about.
Hopefully you had a file name for the document. If so, try to a computer

Yes, it is. I use a Mac with OS X and the Mac version of OOo.
