Is it possible to use openoffice in a multilanguage environment? I know
I can change the dictionaries etc, but is it possible to change the
language of the user interface and the help files without installing
multiple version of openoffice.

to contains the font "Andale Sans UI" then
this font will also be replaced in viewing/printing the document and I
do not want that. Howhever this is unlikely; so this trick eventually do
what I want.

I enable the antialiasing in Tools - Option. All other (microsoft and
other) fonts work without problems.

Yet they are there.
Have you installed the dictionary for NZ or UK English? (You can do with
File -> Wizards -> download new dictionary).
